WPI Fashion & Gala 2025
A Dazzling Celebration of Culture, Creativity & Community!
On a night overflowing with colour, pride, and unshakable spirit, the 2025 WPI Fashion Gala lit up Logan like never before. Now in its third year, this was our largest and most spectacular Gala to date, welcoming an incredible 450 guests who came together to celebrate identity, culture, and community.
From the moment guests arrived, there was an atmosphere of unity and joy that could be felt in every corner of the venue. Laughter echoed, music soared, and the evening unfolded into a powerful celebration of diversity, talent, and empowerment.
Launch of the ‘Made in Logan’ Fashion Line
A defining moment was the debut of our very own Made in Logan fashion line—designed and sewn by refugee and migrant women through WPI’s sewing workshops. These handcrafted garments told stories of resilience and creativity, while also marking a bold step forward in empowering women as creative entrepreneurs and future business owners.
15 Cultures Represented on the Runway
Models from 15 different cultural backgrounds graced the runway, proudly showcasing garments that reflected their heritage, history, and individuality. It was a magnificent, colourful tribute to multiculturalism, confidence, and self-expression that left the audience cheering throughout the show.
Cultural Performances & Storytelling
The stage came alive with more than 10 mesmerising performances, including traditional dances, soulful music, and captivating stories from across the globe. Each performance honoured ancestry, identity, and the strength of cultural connection.
A Feast of Flavours from Around the World
Guests were treated to a multicultural banquet of flavours, with a curated selection of dishes representing African, Western, European, Asian, and Middle Eastern cuisines. The food brought people together in conversation and connection—sharing a meal became another way to share stories and traditions. It was not just delicious—it was deeply meaningful.
Community Market & Cultural Showcase
The Gala also featured a vibrant market where WPI participants showcased handcrafted items and cultural displays. It became a space of celebration, storytelling, and support for local micro-businesses and artisans, many of whom were women from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
We were honoured by the presence of Minister, Senator and MPS, Logan’s Mayor, councilors, community leaders, and partners, who delivered inspiring speeches. Their words echoed the themes of inclusion, opportunity, and lasting impact, reaffirming the Gala’s importance as a platform for change.
A Joyful, Intergenerational Celebration
From toddlers to elders, every generation was represented in the crowd. Children clapped along to music, families danced together, and communities connected across cultures and age groups. The energy was contagious—no one wanted the night to end!
Glowing Feedback & Community Pride
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees expressing that they didn’t want to leave! The Gala has been called “one of the most inclusive and inspiring events ever held in Logan”, and we couldn’t be more proud.
The 2025 WPI Fashion Gala was more than just an event—it was a vibrant movement of visibility, connection, and celebration. It showcased what’s possible when women are empowered, culture is embraced, and the community stands together.
We thank every guest, performer, model, volunteer, and supporter who helped bring this extraordinary night to life. May the memories, the unity, and the mission continue to grow.
